ZipRecruiter - Zip Recruiter will send you job leads that have nothing to do with your Vocation.
I'm a degreed and credentialed Professional that does International Trade and Customs Compliance and an Upper Manager. It's a VERY specialized vocation.
I signed up with Zip Recruiter when I was looking for a new job opportunity, but instead of getting Job Opening leads in my profession, I got job leads for: Sales at Macy's, Target and Kohl's, Automotive Mechanics, Customer Service at UPS, Shipping Department Clerks, Bank clerks, a buyer for a athletic shoe company, shift work at McDonald's, Truck Driver and many more that had NOTHING to do with my trained vocation! Zip Recruiter kept Spamming me with these worthless job leads even when I complained, I had to threaten to sue them to get it to stop!
Zip Recruiter is a SCAM. If you are a Hiring Agent, beware because you will get everyone without the appropriate credentials applying for your jobs, just as they sent me job leads with nothing to do with my vocation.
Reason of review: Not as described/ advertised.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
ZipRecruiter Cons: Misleading promises.

This is fact. One thing has changed though.
If you text back and ask them to actually do some work and recommend a job that uses youโre skills and location. They will stop texting you. Requesting youโre information and storing it for them to use and sell.
Not for you're job search. Jobs will not be the correct type, pay levels, or locations.
I agree. Most jobs posted on their site are over 30 days old. You only find out after you start applying. Then, they spam you with jobs posted that are already filled. What a waste of my valuable time.ZipRecruiter, like Indeed is worthless.
I also agree.
